Chennai Metro Rail Phase 2

The Chennai metro rail phase 2 plan which is part of the smart city project is all set to be completed by 2026. Kuthambakkam Bus Terminus

To cease the traffic congestion in Koyambedu and enable a hassle-free commute for travelers from Chennai to Bangalore and other western cities, this 25-acre hi-tech bus terminus plan was proposed. Almost nearing its completion, this terminus boasts multiple amenities like a food court, water facility, CCTV surveillance, shops, resting rooms for employees, high-speed internet, escalators, an additional floor, and a multi-level parking facility. This bus terminus located in Thirumazhisai, just a few km away from Poonamallee, will have 70 government bus service bays along with 30 private bus service bays. With the Chennai metro rail phase 2 happening in full swing, the bus terminus will be easily accessible by the commuters and well-connected to the city.
